Navi Mumbai: Vaccination of the people riding on the bed scheduled to begin at City Panvel Corporation Municipal will launch a ‘special door’ vaccination drive for the bed that has been submitted to people to provide their details at the nearest health center.
Vaccination the doorway is for bed, bound wheelchair, severe pain and physically challenged.
Recently, the Bombay High Court ordered the state to facilitate bed immunization in front of their door, after which the state directed local administration to implement it.
Commissioner Panve Municipal Ganesh Deshmukh said, “After covering homeless people and beggars, people took refuge in old homes, we had received a telephone to start a special campaign to vaccinate people who could not get out of their homes.
In Thane, the legislator BJP Niranjan Davkhare on Sunday alleged that many who complained to him about those who were not registered were given a vaccine without validation while native citizens were seized with the same thing.
He said he had demanded a probe into this.
