Dosage is not enough, noida keeps drive mega vaccine

Noida / Ghaziabad: The lack of doses has forced Noida to suspend the mega vaccination drive scheduled to start from July 1.
Both Noida and Ghaziabad have resisted the lack of vaccines for the past three days, which have caused suspension of sessions in the few days.
On Wednesday, Noida received only 5,100 covishield and 4,000 covaxin doses to continue the regular vaccination drive which remained suspended for two days.
This is not a full daily dose because the district has been inoculating 10,000-12,000 people every day.
According to the micro plan that Noida has submitted to the state government of the state, the district can autoculate 27,000 people a day.
“Some doses have arrived and we will start vaccination in 38 centers on Thursday.
Mega drives are postponed for now and we will start so we have enough doses,” said Deepak Ohri, Head of Medical Officer Noida.
This district usually has around 70 centers every day.
GB Nagar District Judge Suhas Ly said the supply was expected to be arranged by Monday.
In Ghaziabad, there was no vaccination carried out on Wednesday in one of the government centers.
“For vaccine desires, traveling in government centers must be suspended on Wednesday,” said GP Mathuria from the Department of Health Ghaziabad.
“The mega vaccination drive from Thursday, we only received 8,700 doses of 50,000 previous planned doses for every day.
We will continue the trip on Thursday with what is available with us,” Mathuria added.
At the level of 50,000 doses per day, Ghaziabad will need about 4 doses of lakh from July 1 to last for a week.
“We have sent requests to the state government.
But we have not received information when the dose will be available to us,” said Mathuria.
