Ludhiana: Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said on Wednesday that after a two-month gap, Ludhiana had reported a two-digit Covid case for the past two days which showed a slight surge in the situation.
Overcoming residents in the weekly live Facebook session on the official Facebook page of DPRO Ludhiana, deputy commissioner said that people need to be careful because the Coronavirus case has been reported from two schools that are a problem.
He said that after the case appeared, the administration began a special drive sampling at 12 Mohallas where students lived.
Sharma said that the government assessed the situation and if needed, it would try to declare the detention area to solve the deadly virus transmission chain.
