New Delhi: In the midst of efforts to coordinate the evacuation of Indians from Afghanistan, the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval spoke to US colleagues Jake Sullivan in detail the last night.
US security forces controlled Kabul airport and after talks between the two NSA, the Indian contingent was taken in the American security zone at the airport from where they took off this morning, the top sources told Ani.
The Indian C-17 aircraft was also given permission to land in Kabul Airstrip after coordinating evacuating efforts with American officials on the ground.
The source said that because the situation on the ground in Kabul, the exit of Indian officials had become a little difficult but arranged in the end.
Two C-17 has taken off from Kabul since yesterday.

India has worked with the US for a long time in Afghanistan.
