New Delhi: Chief Electoral Officer Delhi Dr.
Ranbir Singh on Thursday urged people in the national capital to download the ‘VOTHELLLLINE’ application to gain access to all select services via mobile.
Singh met Himanshu Gupta, director of education along with senior education department officials to seek cooperation in creating awareness among students, parents and teachers about the next revised program (SSR) – next 2022.
The revised special summary (SSR) of Delhi’s selection roll will start from November 1.
During this SSR, anyone who will be 18 years old or more on or before January 1, 2022 will be eligible to register as a voter.
The last roll will be published on the 5.
According to an official statement, Singh asks all Delhi residents over the age of 18 to immediately download the ‘Voter’ application that will give them access to all Indian election selection services from their cellphones.
He also asked residents of Divyang to download the PWD application which is an ECI cellular application that is fully accessible.
He said online services would be faster, more comfortable and safer during the ongoing Coivd-19 pandemic.
Apart from the mobile application, online selection services can also be available at www.nvsp.in.
The statement said special camps would be held on November 6, 7, 27 and 28 in all Delhi polling stations to facilitate voter registration.
He also stressed that the education department could play an important role in spreading awareness among students, parents, teachers and staff to promote registration of all new and left voters.
According to the Indian election commission schedule, the design of the integrated design selection will be published on November 1, 2021 and claims and objections will be received from November 1 to 30, said Singh.
The Delhi CEO said during a special summary revision – 2022, it would focus on four priorities in the “Chalo Voter Bane Hum” campaign to motivate youth for voter registration.
All new voters or voters left behind must register by submitting a form-6 and all voter ID cards must check their names by using the ‘VOTHELLLLINE’ application or send an SMS or by searching for their names at https://electoralsearch.in or by calling 1950 Helpline.
Citizens are also asked to check the names of people who die and shift permanently and get their names from the electoral roll by submitting a form-7, the statement is added.
