Dowry Death: 24-yr-Old ends life in Chandigarh

Chandigarh: A 24-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide at her home in Mauli Jagran on Tuesday night.
The Natasha family member accused him of being harassed by his husband and in-laws to marry, lead the police to order her husband, mother-in-law and sister.

When he didn’t return, they went to his house and found him hanging on the ceiling fan with the help of Dupatta in his room on the first floor of the house at 11:30 a.m.
Natasha’s husband and father-in-law on the ground floor at the time of the incident, Surya said.
Immediately, family members pulled his body and took him to the General Hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula, where the doctor stated he was taken dead and told the police.
Police Mauli Jagran reached the hospital and brought the body to a college and a government medical hospital, sector 32, for postmortem.
Surya alleged immediately after marriage, Seema his mother Rani and father-inlaw Rajesh allegedly began to harass him for money.
The victim’s family also accused Ravi used to seize Natasha for money.
The family said they provided complaints of domestic violence at the female police station against her mother-in-law, Jyoti’s brother-in-law and her previous husband.
The police registered a case below Section 304 B (Dowry Death) and 34 (ACT was carried out by several people in the continuation of IPC’s general intentions) of the husband and grace.
