Dp yadav ordered under kidnapping, cost of extortion

MORADABAD: Former MP DP Yadav has been booked by the Uttar Pradesh police under the allegations of kidnapping, forgery and extortion, officials here said on Monday, the day after he was released by the Uttarakhand High Court in a murder case.
The police here said a pine was registered at the Civil Line Police Station against him, former Thakurdwara Mla Vijay Yadav and four others about the direction of the CJM court on Saturday.
Civil Line Inspector Ravindra Pratap Singh said the FIR was submitted by Delhi Road Resident Anil Tomar who had accused that DP Yadav, Vijay Yadav and the other four “kidnap” from the civil lines and demanded Rs 10 Crore to release it or threaten to kill him or threaten him will kill him.

Singh said FIR was listed under the Indian Criminal Code 420 (cheating), 467 (forgery), 364 (kidnapping for ransom) and 384 (extortion) among others.
The investigation has been arranged and the defendant will be arrested if his complaint was found correctly, police officers said.
Uttarakhand HC had last Wednesday released DP Yadav in the murder case of Ghaziabad Mla Mahendra Singh Bhati, overriding the CBI court order Dehradun.
The High Court did not find concrete evidence against DP Yadav and ordered his release.
He was previously given a temporary guarantee in this case.
On the night of September 13, 1992, Bhati was shot dead at Dadri Railway Crossing in the Ghaziabad District of Uttar Pradesh.
