HYDERABAD: Amid reports coming from different countries about multiple Sputnik V providers reacting to their international drug tenders, Dr Reddy’s Labs stated it’s the only custodian of the Russian embryo in India.

At a joint statement issued on Friday, Dr Reddy’s and Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) stated Dr Reddy’s hasn’t authorised any third party or intermediary to provide Sputnik V on its own wages in India.
They encouraged individuals to alert the government promptly if approached with these unscrupulous elements.
“In the past couple of days, there have been many unsubstantiated reports and promises from several quarters in India on alleged tie-ups such as its Sputnik V disease.
Tired of unauthorised people offering bogus deals or asserting procurement of this vaccine posing because its own agents from India,” the announcement said.
“The organization takes no responsibility for the effects of real life deals, deceptive financial trades or flat-rate products caused by such fraud, and” it added.
Figuring out that Dr Reddy’s gets the sole distribution rights of their initial 250 million dosages (second and first dose elements comprised ) of this vaccine from India, ” said that the organization continues to participate in direct discussions with the authorities and the private industry to research partnerships before their industrial introduction of the vaccine at mid-June.
Dr Reddy’s also stated it’s set in place cold storage logistics in addition to track-and-trace agreements such as the vaccine which are completely essential to guarantee the security and high quality of the vaccine.
