Reddy’s laboratory prepares to submit the phase-3 clinical test data from a single dose of Russia Sputnik Light to the drug controller General India (DCGI) in November, also plans to approach the regulator for permission to conduct a separate sputnik lights trial Children and booster for adults.
For the pediatric population, Dr.
Reddy is looking at trials starting next month to children in cohorts – 2-12 years and 12-18 years – and are in the midst of completing their protocol, which will include a different dose regimen for 2- children 12 years old because of their unique body requirements, Sapra Deepak, CEO, fire & service, said Reddy Lab on Friday.
As far as sputnik light as an amplifier, Sapra said the company had completed the protocol and in discussions with DCGI to start a trial for a single dose photo shootout which will be given six months after the second dose of any vaccine has been taken, Sapra said during the Q2FY22 results call.
While acknowledging a lot of tenderness in sputnik v demand in the private market, the company has now approached the Indian government for discussions about including Sputnik V in a national vaccination program, especially because the construction of two doses has also begun, Sapra shows.
So far around 1.1 million vutnic doses v have been given in this country.
