Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Government on Friday issued a guide draft for the reopening of schools in the state which only included two students to sit on the bench and discard midday food for children.
The Minister of General Education V Sivankutty said the draft guidelines would be completed within five days after holding discussions with health and other related departments.

He also said that online classes will continue along with offline classes.
Sivankutty said different, students do not need to attend schools in the initial phase and online awareness classes will be held for parents of children.
The Minister added that hand laundering facilities, sanitisers and masks will be arranged in schools and classes that are disanited every day.
The government also has a plan to issue directions to not allow restaurants including a bakery near the school to sell goods to students.
Meanwhile, the State Chief of State Anil Kant issued a clue to all Station House Officers (SHO) to hold heads of school institutions and management under their jurisdiction to discuss the issue of safety and health of students.
DGP asked Shos to ensure that the school bus was in good condition and asked for school management to complete repairs on October 20.
This direction also includes only permitting people with more than ten years of experience to drive a school bus and install governor speed.
