Lucknow: To ensure strong law and order in the state, Battalion 91 of the Fast Action Force (RAF) will be established in Lucknow.
The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by additional head secretaries, houses, awasthi awasthi at Lok Bhawan on Tuesday.
The state government has provided land for the establishment of the Battalion RAF headquarters in the state capital.
A house department official said the state government would benefit from the formation of this power in Lucknow.
Battalion RAF is based in various parts of the country to reduce response time and rush the team to maintain order immediately.
Lucknow District Administrative Officer said the land had been identified in the village of Bajpur Gangura in Bakshi Ka Talab to establish the RAF battalion headquarters.
