Nagpur: After the police confiscated a car used in what was called the kidnapping of a 19-year-old girl from Chandan Nagar’s locality on Friday, a new drama had begun to remove the vehicle.
Meanwhile, two suspected kidnappers, Rishikesh Kornke and his childhood friend Chiku Chavan, were sent in disposal of police custody for three days after being produced before the court on Saturday.
The police have been looking for seven day prisoners.
Korke and Chavan have taken a car from the garage owned by the niece of one Imran Shaikh.
Through Chavan, Kornke has approached Imran asking to regret his car for a day to take his girlfriend, arriving from Mumbai, with a joyride.
Imran, who had bought a car in May this year, refused because his tire was pierced.
Imran introduced KORKE and Chavan to his nephew which allowed them to use a car from one of his customers.
When Korkke and Chavan got a clue that the police chased them, they left the car in the rented Imran apartment in Diphori and went to another friend of whom they took the scooter.
Imambada police have seized cars and scooters.
It was studied, the owner of the car now blamed Imran for the confiscation of four-wheeled vehicles and demanded the last car as a substitute until the vehicle was legally released.
Imran has guarded the car in his nephew’s garage as a ‘security’ until the four-wheeled customers are released.
Both Imran and the garage customers have not approached the police with any complaints, it was studied.
The sources of the police said that Korke and the girl wanted to teach her father’s lesson to be “too protective”.
Korkke also made a ransom demanding his father demand RS30 Lakh, threatening to cut his body parts instead.
After the police intervened all three tried to cancel the plan but at that time Imambada police and the crime branch had brought KORKE and Chavan to detention.
