WASHINGTON: President Joe Biden said that even though the United States had seen a dramatic decline in the number of Covid-19 deaths because of its vaccination program, the community must remain vigilant with a more malignant Delta variant in this country.
Emphasizing the need for people to vaccinate, he said “almost all” death and hospitalization in Covid in the country was among those who were not vaccinated.
The very contagious Delta variant, also known as B.1.617.2, was first detected in India in December and spread rapidly throughout the world.
In some parts of America, the Delta filter contributed more than 80 percent of new infections, including several Midwestern countries such as Missouri, Kansas and Iowa.
Earlier this month, Disease Control and Prevention Center (CDC) said that Covid’s new infection was with a Delta variant account for 51.7 percent of infections in the US.
Overcoming the second cabinet meeting on the six-month completion of his government on Tuesday, Biden said that overall, Covid-19’s death had dropped dramatically.
And in the past six months, they fell around 90 percent because of vaccination programs.
“But we must remain vigilant, especially with Delta variants that are out there.
While the Covid-19 case increased, almost all of Covid’s inpatient and hospitalization came from people who were not vaccinated.
Let me say it again: Almost all of those who are not vaccinated .
,” she says.
He said the safest thing to do for people must be vaccinated.
And “That’s why we focus, in the next phase, to get vaccinations that are not vaccinated,” he added.
The White House has increased efforts to combat wrong information about vaccines, especially on social media, and do more outreach targeted in society throughout the country, including young people.
Experts believe the Delta variant can be the most dominant tension in this country in the coming weeks.
Local health officials said there were growing concerns about increasing the number of adults and children infected with the Delta variant.
The average number of new Covid-19 cases every day the past week is 32,278, which is a leap of 66 percent of the average daily tariff in the previous week, and 145 percent higher than two weeks ago, CNN reported.
If a more transmitted Delta variant of the disease continues to grow in the US, especially in a population that is not vaccinated, or if the variant is vaccinated resistant, most of the progress made by the country can be reversed, experts have warned.
The US is still the most affected country with a deadly pandemic.
The country has registered more than 34,174,700 cases confirmed and reported more than 609,500 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University Covid-19 Tracker.
Biden further said the US not only vaccinated itself but would also help the world.
“We will help vaccinate the world.
We rebuilt better to create jobs and grow middle class not only at home, (but) everywhere.
In our interest that the economy of other countries is growing,” he asserted , In the US economy, the world’s largest, Biden said it was making historic progress.
“Americans strongly support our plans – that’s the support of many of our friends and other teams longing.
Voting data shows that they strongly support our efforts to infrastructure,” he said.
Biden said his presidency took steps to restore American leadership in the world.
For the past four years, he said, the US has been “behind eight balls”.
“We lost a lot of our establishment.
I don’t need to say that to my friend sitting here – State Secretary.
He understands it well,” he added.
Biden said the US was in the current determining competition for the second quarter of the 21st century with China and many other countries.
“Many of these countries believe that autocracy is the future, that democracy cannot compete with autocracy because it is very difficult.
Everything moves so fast, technology and not, that democracy cannot get joint actions to get consensus about how to move,” he said.
