City: To take revenge by his lover’s father, a 22-year-old young man brutally killed a 19-year-old girl he had a relationship with, by cutting down his throat with a knife in Amirpura Village in Pedawa Police Station in Jhalawar Friday.
However, almost two hours after the crime, the police arrested the defendant, an additional police deployed in the village and the body was handed over to family members after postmortem with a medical board.
The dead girl was identified as Puja Mehar (19), Putri Radheshyam, a resident of Amirpura Village (Bankipura) under the police station Pedawa Jhalawar.
He pursued his graduation.
The defendant was identified as Juber, Jameel’s son, from the same village.
“The dead girl and the defendant have an affair since the last two years.
Reportedly, the girl’s father had struggled the young man about one and a half months ago.
Since then he plans to take revenge,” said SP Kang Siddhu.

The defendant was immediately arrested after crime and ordered under Section 302, 354 (d) IPC and part 3 (2) sc / st actions, he added.
“Additional power is deployed in the village to defend the law and order while the additional supervisor of the police is directed to the tent in the village for the next two days to supervise,” SP said.
“Around 11 o’clock in the morning, the defendant reached the farm field where the girl worked and pulled it to the side.
First, he attacked him with a knife and then slashed his throat killed him in place,” ASP said Rajesh Yadav.
“Beaten by the girl’s father came out as the reason behind the brutal murder.
The defendant revealed the girl teasing and making fun since she was beaten by her father,” said ASP Rajesh Yadav.
The young man and girl has violated their relationship and will marry in separate places in their respective communities.
