New Delhi: Special Cell Police Delhi arrested a scientist, who was identified as Bharat Bhushan Kataria, after a complete investigation into the Rohini Court explosion on December 9, Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana revealed at a press conference on Saturday.
Scientists, who are currently interrogated in detention, are thought to want to eliminate lawyers with whom he has old hostility.
Toi was the first to report on Saturday that the explosion was not related to terror and was arranged by a Drdo scientist.
Kataria began planning attacks a month ago and bought important things through e-commerce sites and other ways, which were verified by the police.
He uses an anti-theft system intended for bicycles as a remote control to trigger an explosion.
He allegedly studied online techniques using DIY videos and web pages, in addition to using professional expertise.
However, the bag used by the catria to bring explosives and suspicious movements was caught on the CCTV camera blew the cover.
The investigation has revealed that the catria and advocate, Amit Vashisht, lived in the same building until about three years ago.
“They have a long-term dispute for more than 10 years and have submitted more than a dozen civil cases and criminal cases against each other.
One such case against the cathedaria is registered on December 9 in room 102, the Rohini court, for responsible arguments, “Asthana said.

Cases under the murder trial (307 IPC) and Part 3 of the explosive law are registered in special cells.
“Nearly 200 police consisting of DCP Rajiv Ranjan Singh, ACP Ved Prakash and others from the northern range began their investigation while other cell units provide input,” said a senior police officer.
The initial findings of national security guards and forensic laboratories show the use of materials that are easily available in making IEDs.
IED components, including chemicals such as nitrate and potassium chlorate and nuts and bolts as bullet fractions, identified from debris and complete efforts made to track the source of all these components.
The bags used to put the IED tracked into Mumbai-based medical equipment made multinational companies and after that distributors, including the Stockist based in Delhi, checked.
Stationery shop that sells the cover of the file found in the bag with IED identified.
Automotive anti-theft mechanism distributors used in IED are identified and checked.
During an investigation, more than 1,000 vehicles entering the court complex on the day of the explosion was verified.
The snippet of around 120 CCTV cameras inside and outside the court complex was carefully studied to identify the suspect.
Thick telephone data analyzed.
Based on CCTV recordings and eyewitness accounts, some people who attended the court complex were identified and verified.
The list of litigation that day the courtroom was also scanned and people were related to cases examined.
Exercise for a week led the police to zero in a dozen suspicious characters.
From them, Bharat Bhushan Kataria became an interesting person.
The case was registered to hear on the day of the explosion.
His opponent’s party, Amit Vashisht, sat in the line next to the revealed IED.
Vashisht said as long as he questioned that he had seen a catria in court just before the explosion.
When the police dug deeper, they found the catria involved.
