Mumbai: Drill Mock Simulation to check emergency preparedness is done at Mumbai airport on Saturday morning, which has airlines and airport staff along with passengers evacuating the terminal building.
Weekend passengers were stranded for almost an hour and many wrapped their anger on social media.
Comic Stand-up Abijit Ganguly Tweeted, ‘If you plan to do Mockdrill anywhere, at least have some communication that happens to who should be done, go where.
Mere chaos at Mumbai airport is currently crazy and I’m sure many people will lose the flight because of that.
Absolute crazyness’.
Mumbai International Airport spokesman Ltd said the mock drill was simulated with a security protocol held at Terminal 2 in collaboration with airport stakeholders.
“After all the assessments and examinations are successful, the terminal is declared safe, with the drill completed at 11:48 a.m.,” the spokesman added.
