Jhansi: To ensure that the new trigger ward was built ready to face the third wave, artificial drill was carried out in the new trigger ward built along with oxygen plants recently commissioned on Thursday in Jhansi and Lalitpur.
The exercise was ordered by Commissioner Jhansi Division Ajay Shankar Pandey and monitored carefully by the designated Nodal Head.
This drill was done at the District Hospital by Dr.
KK Gupta and the team observed by Vice President Jda, Sarvesh Kumar Dixit who was appointed as Nodal Incharge.
Similar drills were also held at the Lalitpur District Hospital supervised by additional health directors, Dr.
Alpana Bartariya.
Ward triggers 100 beds along with a ventilator and the central oxygen supply system has been established in Jhansi Medical College.
In addition, the ward triggers 40 beds where 20 is equipped with a ventilator or HFNO and 20 with oxygen facilities it has been arranged at the Division hospital.
Apart from the 20 beds this bed has been made in the district hospital while four CHC has been upgraded with 12 beds each having similar facilities in the Jhansi district.
