Kolkata: Kolkata Municipal Corporation will eventually reach out of parents and weak residents with vaccination-in-house offers.
In an effort to bring the population of parents and people who are sick under vaccination nets after a surge in cases, the KMC health department will reach those who will apply for JAB at home because they cannot move from them home.
A senior citizen, who suffered from several types of illness seriously and cannot visit the KMC vaccination clinic, needs to be applied to the Mayor Firhad Judge on the WhatsApp number (9830037493).
The KMC team will reach the Petitioner at night.
However, the vaccine will be given in the presence of registered medical practitioners, the judge said on Monday.
Civic’s body, said the judge, put pressure on vaccinations and younger people.
In addition to maintaining 37 covaxin clinics open to students aged between 15-18, the KMC health department will open several mega centers for them.
“Students must be taken down drive vaccination after a positive surge of Covid cases.
We will beg all school students to take the opportunity and vaccinate in our clinic or in special camps in schools,” said the judge.
The judge also expressed satisfaction with a sharp decline in the Covid case in Kolkata.
“Today we have recorded 1,723 cases throughout the city.
But we must continue to follow the Covid protocol,” he said.
According to sources, the Civic body has reduced the city detention zone of 44 to 33.
