Ahmedabad: In prizes for the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on Friday, the state will drive a special Covid vaccination, targeting a record of 35 Lakh populations that meet the requirements in a day.
Manoj Aggarwal, ACS (HEALTH), told the media on Thursday that the drive would include the first and second dose vaccination.
“The aim is to cover more than 35 beneficiaries of the lakh and ensure 100% vaccination at 7,500 Gujarat village,” he said.
He added that meeting reviews with all collector and city commissioners were carried out on Thursday for purpose through video conferencing.
The country has so far been given 5.35 covid vaccination crore doses, one of the highest in this country.
ACS (HEALTH) claims that penny cents per percent of 5,906 villages in the state are given the first vaccination dose.
“Gujarat has also established a strong vaccine storage facility, with six zone level stores, 41 districts and corporate level stores, and 2,236 operational cold chain points to meet the requirements,” he said.
Medical brotherhood with several NGOs promoted the causes of organ contributions on September 17.
Officials of the Ahmedabad Medical Association (AMA) said that they had begun campaign to include as many members as possible for the cause, while the officials of the City Civil Hospital and IKDRC have held special appointment sessions on Friday to create awareness about the cause.
Some city-based organizations have also planned activities around the theme of Birthday PM including charity events and free medical camps to mark the opportunity.
