Prayagraj: Even as active participation in rural women based in rural women has helped the district health department authority to criticize the success stories as far as concerned, the recipients of women are still far behind their male colleagues.
The figures from the Ministry of Health on Tuesday revealed that from 49,22,977 doses provided so far in the district, 25.51.284 men, 23,69,568 women and 2,125 transgender are covered under drive vaccination.
However, officials recognized that women continued to lead in vaccination for the past three and a half months because they marched to be affixed to rural and urban areas but there was a difference of 1.81 lakh between the recipients of men and women.
Officials acknowledged that women recipients continued to exceed the number of men in receiving the Covid-19 vaccine in the city of Sangam since September.
Of the 3.75,178 doses given between December 1-14, as many as 1,94,198 women and 1,80,817 men and 163 transgender were given a shot.
Note claims that from 9,52,528 jab given to the recipient who qualified in November, as many as 5,00,968 women received Jab, while the power of the recipient of the man who took the vaccine of 4.51.214.
Likewise, of a total of 8,41,889 doses given in October, 4,40,094 doses were given to women, while 4,01,428 doses were received by men.
In addition, in September, of a total of 9,39,300 doses given to the recipient who qualified, as many as 4,78,740 women and 4,60,002 men were vaccinated.
Additional Medical Heads and District Immunization Officers (DIO) told TII that women’s recipients currently take active parts in drive vaccination and recipients who are more qualified to spin the vaccination center to get Jab.
ACMO, however, claimed that we made a sincere effort to cover all recipients who qualified under the Vax drive and the team worked overtime for the noble cause.
The focus has also been placed to manage vaccines to recipients who meet the requirements of all age groups at the time scheduled and for that, the health team works on the micro plan to cover the recipient under a fully vaccinated category.
The District Health Authority has set a target to provide a dose to as many as 45.16,437 receivers of all age groups.
