Ludhiana: To provide the wrong complaint, Division 6 police on Monday night ordered industrialist drivers who had accused unidentified people to kidnap and seize them.
The Pritam Singh driver from Sunet Village has accused that when he stopped at the traffic signal near Manju Cinema Crossing, a man knocked on the car window with the pretext of asking the address.
Meanwhile, one of the criminals opened the back door of the car and sat inside, he accused, adding that the defendant placed a sharp-eyed weapon around his neck and asked him to follow his two-handed feet of his hand.
Pritam said the defendant locked it in a house on Jalan Tajpur, grabbed his debit card and cellphone and withdrew RS 4,000 in cash from his account.
Two hours later, the defendant released him, he claimed.
Division 6 Sho Inspector Rohit Sharma said, “The police found a suspicious problem and during the probe found that the man had a dark relationship with a woman who lived on Jalan Tajpur.
Pritam goes there to meet him, but the woman’s son comes and struggles.
