New Delhi: Two armed drones were shot down on Monday when they approached the Iraqi military base which won the US near Baghdad International Airport, said Iraq’s security source, added that no one was injured in the incident.
The attack came as Iran and his allies in Iraq marked the commemoration of the second murder of Qassim Suleimani.
Armed groups that some Iraqi officials said supported by Iran had claimed responsibility for similar incidents in the past.
