Ramanathapuram: INS Parundu, a Navy air station in Uchipuli in Ramanathapuram District Tamil Nadu, has warned that there is a drone flying within a radius of three kilometers around it to be destroyed.
The warning was issued on Friday after the recent asymmetrical air strike at an Indian Air Force station in Jammu on June 27 using a drone, which was followed by seeing drones in military camps in Kaluchak and Kunjwani in Jammu.
Naval air stations in the South Coastal District are among them throughout the country who have been high after the unexpected attack five days ago.
According to the statement from the Parundu, there is a ban on flying from non-conventional air objects including aircraft remotely (RPS) or drones within three km of the naval air station.
“Non-conventional air objects including RPA (drones) are found to violate this ban will be destroyed or confiscated without obligation; and actions will be taken under the Indian criminal code against the operator,” it was warned.
