Amritsar: Drone, which is believed to have been released from Pakistan, dropped seven heroin packages within the Indian region near Mahwa Village on January 19, said security border officials (BSF).
BSF Pro told that the troops heard humming drones on night intervention January 19 and January 20 and involved flying objects by firing them after illuminating the area.
Pros told that BSF Jawan also heard a sound of dropping some objects from unmanned air vehicles and told the agency of the sister.
“Today (Thursday) morning, the area was recorded and the search was made for seven packages, allegedly becoming a heroin weighing around 7.25 kg, recovering,” The Pro said.
However, there has been no clarity about other drones recovered by BSF on Wednesday, with several sources claiming that ‘flying objects’ can fall in the Indian region after running out of battery or losing GPS signals.
Earlier on December 18, in the first incident, BSF had dropped Pakistani drones near Wan Bop.
