Drone to monitor ganesh pandal

Vadodara: plans to come out because of a glimpse of ganesh in the city? Then the airline and maintain a safe distance in a crowded area because you will be under the watch from above.
In an effort to ensure that Covid-19 guidelines were strictly followed, the city police had decided to use drones during the Ganesh celebration.
While the police have used drones on Ganesh Immersions Day for the past few years, this is the first time they are operated for all 10 festival days.
“We have given permission to a limited number of Pandal Ganesh and asked the organizers to follow Covid norms.
But the police need to be alert too.
This year, we have decided to spread drones, especially in walled cities,” Shamsher Singh said, Commissioner of the City Police.
“During the festival, people will be on the road and it is not possible to keep an eye on every corner and angle in some areas.
The drone will help us monitor the main road and interior path.
If we see a large crowd gathering in several places, our team will soon reach there and urge People to follow Covid norms, “said Singh Toi.
The police have been given high resolution drones that can be entered into automatic mode as well.
This drone has a high vision camera that can enlarge the face and float around for a long time.
If a route is fed in the system, this drone moves itself and gives direct feed about events around.
The police said that it also employed several other drones from local companies.
On the day of Imperi Ganesh, many drones will be deployed in the old city, police said.
“We have also formed several teams that will monitor the area where ganesh’s pandal has been installed.
People have to wear face masks when they come out in public places and follow the Covid protocol,” Singh added.
