T’puram: BJP State Unit on Friday has asked the state government not to continue with the K-Rail project.
State President BJP K Surendran said the ‘worrying’ train project must be dropped earlier because the same goal is not developed, but large-scale corruption.
Overcoming a press conference, Surendran said the project would encourage the country to become another debt trap.
“It was very sad that the Chair of the Pinarayany Minister Vijayan tried to put pressure on the Government Government for his support for K-Rail when the people in the country were burdened by natural disasters, one after another.
The BJP State Unit believes that the Center must not give permission on the project with any cost.
State government must drop projects that cannot be used which will provide more difficulties to people, “said Surendran.
He wants Vijayan to clarify why the government rejects alternative projects for K-Rail, which is proposed by Metroman e sreedharan.
Surendran accused the government of Pinarayi Vijayan to take a proquarrying stand.
The state government approach is a natural disaster of the technique.
Surendran said the state government failed to bring comfort to people who lost everything in natural disasters.
“The minister’s chairman must clarify the status of the rehabilitation program announced during the last two floods.
The government has not been able to carry out rehabilitation work in Kavalappara and Pettimudi,” Surendran said.
