New Delhi: Indian drug regulators have urged the Pfizer twice in writing to submit an emergency use authorization for the Covid-19 vaccine so that the application is processed well on time but Pfizer has not submitted a license, the source said on Tuesday.
According to these sources, the government continues to connect with Pfizer, but there is no decision taken mainly because it provides protection against legal obligations.
In particular, in June, the CEO of Pfizer Albert Bourla said that the company was in the final stage to get approval for the Covid-19 vaccine in India.
Meanwhile, other US giant drug makers Messenger-19 Messenger (MRNA) This vaccine is expected to reach India this week.
