‘Drug supplier’ captured in the Nagaon Assam district

Guwahati: Police in the Nagaon District Assam Central arrested a drug supplier allegedly on Thursday morning.
Sirajul Islam, 31, was injured in police shots during the meeting.
The police also recovered a gun of 0.22 and won the alleged heroin, worth more than Rs 9 Lakh in the international market, from ownership.
Previously, Islam was arrested last year and also in May this year in cases related to drugs, but guaranteed.
However, after he was ordered for allegedly trying to kill a Homesaw lover in August, he continued to run away.
NAGON SP Anand Mishra said, “On Wednesday night, we were informed that Islam was hiding in Kachua Village in this district.
A police team went to the place and found it.
Then, he led the police to Kodomonigaon, where he had hidden drugs..
During the operation, he took a gun and was aimed at the police.
The police then fired into him, following his injury.
