Drunken Brawl claims one life, one captured

Coimbatore: Annur police arrested a 50-year-old man on Saturday for killing his friend in a drunk fight in Urumandagagenpudur.

After Nataraj was found killed, the police tried to get Gurusamy, who was hiding.
“We then formed a team and launched the hunt for him.
We arrested him on Saturday night.
Gurusamy said Nataraj had used a serpulfate while talking about his wife.
In anger, Gurusamy attacked Nataraj with stones and left him in a pool of blood,” police officers told toi.
Based on his statement, the police registered a case against Gurusamy under section 302 (murder) from the Indian criminal code and arrested him.
