Coimbatore: A 30-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday to kill a construction worker during a drunk fight near Thadagam on the outskirts of the city.
According to the police, the passing person had seen the body of a man in his 50s with a piercing injury to the Somaiyanur stop near Thadagam on Wednesday morning and told them.
The Thadagam police then restored the body, sent to the hospital for Postmortem.
During a preliminary investigation, the police identified the deceased when the 55-year-old Senthilkumar, construction workers.
“We found Senthilkumar stabbed by Chinnadurai, a resident of Thadagam, during the fight they took while consuming liquor on Tuesday night.
All Act was recorded on a CCTV camera installed at the location,” said a police officer.
The police disabled Chinnadurai from Kalapanatickenpalayam later on and registered a case against him under the part of the KUHAP.
Chinnadurai is produced in front of Judicial Judge, who returns it in custody of the judiciary.
