Hyderabad: In a surprising incident, a gas station worker cut off his wife at Rajendranagar on Thursday night and then walked to the police station with a cut off.
The defendant, Pervez, was arrested and the murder case under the IPC section was slapped against him.
Five years ago, Pervez was ordered for domestic abuse after complaints from his wife.
The couple married for 14 years.
On Thursday night, Pervez came home with a drunken condition and took a fight with Begum suspecting his loyalty.
After he fell asleep, Pervez tarnished his throat with a knife and cut his head, said Rajendranagar ACP B Gangadhar.
Pervez, who belonged to the Nagar Imad at MM Pahadi from Rajendranagar, wrapped his head with a towel and went to the police station along with his three children on a motorcycle after committing murder and surrendered to the police around 2am.

However, about a year ago, Pervez met him before the elders and convinced him to return.
“In 2016, domestic abuse cases were registered against Pervez.
This kasing was later resolved by mutual understanding of the two parties,” police said.
The police shifted the head that was cut off along with the whole body of Begum for autopsy.
Pervez will be produced before the court on Saturday for Judicial detention.
