Ranchi: Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU) is facing a serious lack of regular educators to conduct the 30 departments in line with the standards.
Vice-chancellor (VC) of both DSPMU S N Munda said that the college is short of about 200 teaching employees at the moment.
“You’ll find 30 branches in the college.
Based on standards, each section needs a mentor, two associate professors and six lecturers.
There’s absolutely not any professor at the college.
The university has approximately 55 regular educators currently.
Many branches have only a couple of lecturers,” he explained.
Additional there aren’t any demonstrators, who normally utilised to become lecturers following advertising, at the college.
Under the conditions, the college relies a good deal on the contractual as well as the guest school for conducting the standard classes such as Hindi, English, Mathematics, Botany and Political Science.

Munda stated that even though the classes have been self-financing, the college has asked the authorities to regularise the educators that are taking courses for many decades now.
DSPMU has been raising requirement for appointment of their permanent Grade III and IV personnel.
