New Delhi: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) President Chaudhary Anil Kumar Meets with Chief Commissioner of the Surewaslan Suresh N Patel in his office on Tuesday to submit a letter demanding a detailed probe into a low-up purchase and maintenance contract for Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC ) .
Kumar, who met Patel together with the delegation of other Congress members, said the CVC would hold a comprehensive investigation into the complaint and arrived at a decision within three months.
He assured the delegation that the action would be taken against those who were found guilty, said the party.
The President of the DPCC said the congressional delegation also submitted relevant documents regarding the purchase and maintenance tender for 1,000 buses, a copy of the DTC board resolution and other papers.
He said that the chairman of the Minister Arvind Kejriwal had to submit a probe to the CBI when he claimed that improving the DTC bus service was one of the promises of cm.
