Gurgaon: The Enforcement Team of the City and State Planning Department (DTCP) has canceled the work certificate (OCS) of 41 residential properties for allegedly carrying out unauthorized construction after the procurement of documents.
An official said the department would further seal the drive against the property and the file against the owner, architect and contractor.
Immediately after the Cancellation of OC, the Department asked Tehsildars not to register the sale of this property and the presentation showed a notification to the architect.
This property is located in the licensed colony of Palam Vihar, UPPAL Southend, World Vipul, Suncity, DLF-1, Vatika-83 and Dlf Alameda sectors, officials said.
Last week, with direction Director DTCP KM Pandurang, five teams were formed to maintain changes to changes made in residential buildings by property owners who had purchased OC.
The DTCP team has conducted inspections in this field to check whether this property owner adheres to the original building plan or conducts illegal construction.
The teams have been told to visit the site 10 days after giving OC to assess if construction is carried out according to the approved development plan.
They will check this property again after 45 days.
If violations such as construction in the front and back area of their property and even in the Karaul parking area found, the team will start actions against property owners and cancel OC.
A senior DTCP official said, “Many owners violated the OCS provisions given based on the development of Haryana and the rules of urban Law, 1975.
Some conducted additional construction or building structures that were changed after getting papers.
Also, in some residential properties, even commercial activities are underway .
“In 2019, the DTCP has increased the floor area ratio (FAR) plots measuring 300 square meters to 264%, and 240% for larger plots.
The department has even allowed the construction of guard and toilet spaces in the stage area, which was once among the most common violations before.
