Gurgaon: The premiere of six hectares along the Gurgaon-Sohna National Highway was cleared from illegal structures by the City and State Planning Department (DTCP) on Tuesday.
Only 100 meters from the highway, before the toll plaza, the builders have carved illegal colonies and established wall boundaries and build shops and quarters of workers who violate the norms.
This builder has advertised colonies and guarantees 200% appreciation within five years.
Pamphlets show plots of various sizes, including 60, 75, 100, 150, 200, 500 square meters, with industrial corridors, metro connectivity, and other facilities.
The District Planner District (Enforcement) Batth Hospital said the offenders were warned three times in the past month to stop construction activities but not.
“The heighty team faces severe resistance from the locals when they try to block JCBs.
About 50 police control the crowd,” he said.
Other 4-acre illegal colonies, are being developed in the village of Mahendwara Sohna, destroyed where road networks and a house under construction are destroyed.
Violators advertise this colony on various social networks to deceive potential investors.
BATTH said the department received complaints and even received advertisements from social media.
The enforcement team reaches the site with three Earthmovers and workers found to work and construction work is underway.
“All structures and wall boundaries are destroyed.
Local residents gathered and tried to block the drive.
Some even tried to block the JCBS road,” he said.
