Gurgaon: The City and State Meeting Department (DTCP) has formed five teams to ensure that the prohibition of all types of construction and development activities in this city are enforced.
According to DTCP officials, the team will examine every type of individual construction around 30 licensed colonies.
“In the event that any construction activity is noticed, the team will stop it in place and send a report to the Regency City Planning Office (DTCP) every day.
The team will also seal the building under construction if there is a big violation,” said an official.
The state government has banned all construction and development activities from November 14 to drop the rising level of pollution through the command by the Secretary of Haryana.
DTP (Enforcement) Batth Hospital said five teams were formed on Tuesday to allow examination of all types of construction activities and help improve air quality in the city.
Instead of issuing notifications or asking them to attend hearing, violators will be immediately issued by Challans by the Department.
“The DTCP has appealed to Gurgaon people to stop sustainable construction until the order further remembers the increasing level of pollution.
Therefore, construction activities will not be tolerated,” Batth added.
The department also requested developers of various housing colonies to keep the DTP office get information if there are construction activities that occur in their colonies.
According to the direction issued for the developer, DTP said if there were construction activities found in their licensed areas, strict action in terms of penalty must be taken, along with further action according to the law.
“All developers are also directed at demanding their officials concerned to patrol in their licensed areas to ensure that even individual unit owners do not carry out construction.
Officials will visit their area to examine violations,” orders reclaimed by DTCP to builders.
