Gurgaon: A recent survey by the City and State Department (DTCP) has found that some illegal commercial activities are being carried out on housing plots in Sushant Lok-1, which have caused a major burden on local infrastructure.
The department, officials said, will now make sealing and demolition drivers in licensed colonies within 15 days.
The survey was conducted by DTCP after members of the Ratu Plaza shop association had filed complaints to the enforcement team to engage in illegal commercial activities that violated the norm.
Association members have accused that despite paying all taxes, contributions, and procurement of trade licenses, they face losses due to illegal stores and commercial activities in the area.
Shiv Shankar Rai, a local resident, said that with an increase in the burden on basic facilities due to the construction of the fourth floor and delay in infrastructure augmentation by the Civic Agency, the local population faced several problems related to water supply, waste waterways and drainage.
The system, power supply and other most violations are in a plot of 60 yards under the economically weaker part category in the C-block colony, he said.
Meanwhile, residents also accused the corporation of the city of Gurgaon (MCG) has failed to take advantage of around RS 88 Crore.

Funds, according to the norm should be used for infrastructure augmentation.
In 2016, the state government has increased the number of land use (CLU) for housing purposes under the building code Haryana, 2016.
Building codes provide additional fares permitted at payment of costs as approved by the government from time to time.
At present, the DTCP has stopped the transfer of allegations far to civilian bodies because of the non-utilization of funds so far.
