Students have been given two options – physical mode (from college) and remote mode (from home) using ICT-based facilities.
“Those who have chosen the option to write a test with physical mode will have the choice to write it through remote mode but not vice versa.
Universities will provide the necessary infrastructure in accordance with MHA guidelines, UGC remembers Covid-19,” the guideline said.
Students must be provided by all facilities by college because it takes an open book exam in physical mode.
They must bring their own A4 size sheets.
The duration of the exam will be four hours, including one hour to scan the answer sheet in PDF / JPEG format and upload to the portal.
Different students will be given six hours.
In terms of students facing technical problems while uploading their answer sheets, they can send their answer sheets beyond the time limit specified by an additional hourly documentary evidence to be provided.
Delayed submission cases will be sent to the review committee and their evaluation will depend on the committee’s decision, according to the guidelines.
Pending submissions may also cause delays in declaration of results for these candidates.
In the related development, the non-Collegiate Women’s Education Agency (NCWeb) postponed the third semester and fifth student exams until further orders.
The exam should start from November 30.
NCWeb is a non-formal system to obtain a degree from Delhi University with lectures only sent on weekends.
