Du slot: not many choices for students with less than 90%

New Delhi: The first cutoff list announced by the University of Delhi does not offer many students who have scored between 80% and 90% in their class XII examinations.
Most of the colleges throughout the DU have a request score above 90% for most of their courses with 10 courses asking for the perfect score of the candidates.
However, more than 87,000 applicants who are in the 80% bracket up to 90% are still left with several choices below the first cutoff list.
Courses like BSC (H) Home Science and BSc (Electronics) are several options for students in the flow of science.
In Bhagini Nivedita College, Cutoff for BSC (H) home science increased a percentage point and was set at 86% this year.
CUTOFF for BSC (PROG) of physical science and BSC (PROG) physical science with computers is set at 80% this year.

Cutoff for courses such as BSC (H) Instrumentation at the Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women is set at 87%, which is a percentage of points less than last year.
Likewise for candidates in the humanities flow, several courses available for students in this bracket are BA (H) social work and philosophy of BA (H).

With cutoff above 90% for BA (H) philosophy in most colleges offering courses, at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College for women, namely 86%, in Lakshmibai College 87% and 88% in the eyes of Sundri College for women.
It’s separate from language courses like Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali and others where cutoff is below 80% and as low as 45% in some cases.
Stating that students in this bracket should not lose hope, Hem Chand Jain, Principal Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, said, “It is very likely that in the second and third list, they will get a chance.
The reason behind our college has a very high cutoff Also because of our enhanced rankings.
In some other universities, it’s because of the results of the council.
Students may not lose the heart because the next cutoff list must be a little reasonable.
