“Our students are located throughout India and we don’t want to make a panic situation for them.
We will reopen in a gradual and careful way so that no students are religious or uncomfortable.
We will be reopened after discussion and in a systematic way , “said Joshi Pti.
“We will reopen for some students, then see the situation …
when we get confidence, we will open more students,” he added.
Joshi emphasizes student safety is their priority.
He said PhD students and MPhil came to campus and this study occurred in a controlled way but would now subside to see the situation slowly and steadily.
“We will not open the water gate,” he stressed.
In the first week of August, DU has issued an official notification announcing that he will hold a physical class for students of the flow of science considering the decline in the Coronavirus case, after the teacher has expressed displeasure on student decisions to call students to campus.
The university then postponed his decision, with DU Registrar Vikas Gupta said that the Delhi disaster management authority had not issued a guideline on the reopening of the campus.
“We have to pull back the previous notification because DDMA hasn’t issued any guidelines …
(Now) DDMA guidelines have come and we will follow them.
We will continue the class online too,” Joshi said.
