Dubai: Dubai plans to cut carbon emissions by 30% by the end of 2030, the Emirat government media office said on Sundays on its website.
The plan is part of a broader strategy, announced by the United Arab Emirates in October, to achieve carbon emission neutrality in 2050, the office said.
Dubai, the main regional business, financial hub and logistics, is the second largest and richest emirate that formed the UAE Federation of seven members, after Abu Dhabi who was oil rich.
