BENGALURU: Dug-up streets, potholes and pristine civic functions welcomed taxpayers on the very first evening of Strike on Monday.
Lots of people criticised BBMP along with other bureaus, asking why they did not utilize the lockdown time to wrap up functions.

Mallesh P, that drives a speed traveller, stated that the state of Mysuru Road near Kengeri hadn’t improved.
“You can find far more potholes today,” he explained.
BBMP main engineer (jobs ) Lokesh M told TOI that even though obstacles, many street works were finished through the lockdown.
“Vehicles utilized for asphalting functions weren’t accessible and employees who were left following the lockdown was levied.
But, we ended up streets that determine traffic congestion on settlement and finished the asphalting job,” he explained.
Chief engineer (street & infrastructure) BS Prahalad also stated there was labor disturbance, but BBMP managed to pool funds and total functions that were crucial.
He’s taken control as chief engineer in Bengaluru Smart City Limited.
“We’ve been in a position to get momentum at finishing road works, however there have been challenges, such as rain.
In the forthcoming days, rain will probably play an essential part in the development of street asphalting,” he added.
