Thiruvananthapuram: Scripting New Chapter in the State Higher Education Sector, Digital University Kerala (DAK) and Kerala University (KU) has signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of education and research.
The 10-year agreement between one of the oldest and youngest universities in this country will open up new opportunities in the field of education.
In an event held in the University of Kerala’s Syndicate room on Monday, Mou was signed by Duk Registrar P Suresh Babu and Ku Registrar K An Anil Kumar in front of the representative of Dr.

The MoU will provide a win-win opportunity for Duk, who has expertise in the latest technology, and Ku, which has various departments that offer technical and non-technical courses, the statement said.
Curriculum development is one of the encouraging areas where the two universities will work on combining skills sets that can equip students with changes to work scenarios, he added.
Established as a University of Travancore in 1937, KU is one of the first 16 universities in the country and has more than 150 affiliated colleges and 43 teaching and research departments.
Kerala Digital Science University, Innovation and Technology, known as Duk, was founded by the Kerala Government in 2020, in response to the demand for major labor for the fourth industrial revolution involving disturbing technology.
Duk, located on campus technocity, offers master and doctoral programs in the latest technology such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, internet things, cyber security, analytics data etc.
