Pune: Police Pimpri Chinchwad on Saturday caught a dukun to deceive a 39-year-old Chambholi population of RS 33,000 with the pretext of giving his wife a Ayurvedic drug to get pregnant.
An officer from Police Alandi said that in February this year, two men came to the complainant house and claimed selling Ayurvedic drugs that helped get pregnant.
“The complainant bought a drug worth RS33,000 from the duo.
When the medicine was not proven effective, he tried to contact the duo.
But, they did not respond,” the officer added.
