Coimbatore: A 68-year-old man and his 49-year-old son was arrested on Tuesday for killing a 55-year-old homeless man on Jalan Ansari near Ram Nagar here on Friday (October 15).
The Kattoor police said the passing people had seen Sundarrajan, Velandipalalayam’s native, in a pool of blood in front of a shop on Jalan Ansari in early Friday and told them.
“Arjun’s sub-inspector and the team took him to Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital, where he was tested positive for Covid-19 and died without responding to treatment on Monday morning,” a police officer said.
