Duo mother-son Dupes gold company RS 2.6 lakh

A duo’s men cheats a famous gold loan company Rs 2.6 lakh after taking down payment to “release gold” from the pawnshop broker.
According to complaints submitted by Chandan M, executive with the Hindustan gold company, on July 17, he received a call from a man who introduced himself as a Vivek, a resident of Andrahalli.
Vivek said he wanted to sell his mother’s gold jewelry weighing 120 GM which they promised with a local pawnshop broker for Rs 2.6 Lakh.
Vivek asked Chandan if their company would help him release gold.
The total cost of gold, Vivek claimed, was Rs 6 Lakh.
Chandan continued the call to his manager Nitin, who after talking to Vivek, closed the agreement.

The next morning, Chandan visited Vivek’s house with Rs 2.6 lakh in cash.
According to the complainant, Vivek and his mother were at home.
As told, Chandan gave money to Vivek’s mother so she could go and let go of her ornaments mortgaged from the broker.
The two men sat at home for hours, waiting for the woman back.
Vivek pretended that he tried to contact his mother, but he did not receive a call.
Then, he told Chandan to wait while he would go find his mother.
Chandan waited for two more hours and then realized that the mother and son were gone.
He tried to call Vivek but the latter had turned off the phone.
Feeling something wrong, Chandan was named Nitin to tell him about his development.
The manager ordered him to go to the police station and submit a complaint.
Police visited Vivek’s house and contacted the owner of his house.
The owner said that the duo had not been forwarded to rent the police
After Nitin filed a complaint, the police team reached Vivek’s house and contacted the owner of the house.
The homeowner said that the duo of the men recently rented an apartment and they had not paid the amount of advanced rent.
Police byadarahalli has searched for CCTV camera recordings from the area and tried to track the defendant.
