Pune: Two men who were transmitted by the bike won the gold chain worth Rs1.4 Lakh from the carrier racer on another motorcycle on Thursday night across the Christian funeral on Jalan Pune-Solapur.
Wanowrie police registered FIR on Friday.
“The woman’s husband rode a bicycle.
The couple was on his way home in Hadapsar, through Fatimanagar Chowk.
Two men borne by bicycles came from behind and racer rinses the woman’s chain and they fled,” said Senior Inspector Deepak Lagad.
After the woman raised the alarm, her husband took the speed and chased the duo to two minutes, but he stopped after the suspects took speed and fled towards Hadapsar.
“We are working on certain instructions to capture the earliest duo,” he said.
