Du’s Academic Couce approved the Holding of Entrance Test from next year

New Delhi: The Academic Council of the University of Delhi on Friday approved the Holding of Entrance Test for reception from next year, according to sources.
The academic council meeting was held on Friday and although 17 of the 26 selected members distinguished it, the proposal to hold a shared entrance test was passed.
The board includes members other than those who are selected.

The problem will now appear for discussion at the executive board meeting scheduled for December 17.
“The General Entering Test (CET) for undergraduate acceptance will lead to the fungus of the coaching institute that will be very bad for students and female students who are disadvantaged socially and economically,” said Mithuraaj Dhusies, a board member.

Hang out with a similar view, Alok Pandey, a member of the Board, said that such a technical and medical entrance exam, students will take training to prepare for DU, so it does not focus on their school studies.
The nine-member panel formed by Du Vice-Chancelor Yogesh Singh has recommended that the university must conduct an entrance examination through a joint entry test to ensure substantial objectivity in the receipt process, in the midst of controversy erupting the number of high-value sensers.
From the kerala board into the university.
The committee formed under the leadership of the Dean (exam) DS Rawatan should examine more than and under the receipt to the undergraduate program, studying the distribution of wise acceptance in all undergraduate programs, suggest alternative strategies for optimal revenues in scholars.
Course, and check OBC receipt by referring to the status of ‘non-cream layers’.
“The Committee is from a view that is considered that acceptance can be done through a joint entry test (CET),” the Committee said in his report.
“It can be done through the appropriate mode by the university through a well-designed internal settings or through any external body depending on the applicable operational feasibility and administrative convenience at that time followed by the declaration of a list of candidates who qualified for acceptance,” it said.
According to sources, modalities to conduct entrance examinations will be done after their approval at the Executive Board meeting.
The board also discussed the PhD and Masters in the Nanomedicine and Btech program from 2022-23.
Fifteen members recorded differences of opinion against them.
“MOE and UGC systematically encouraged publicly funded institutions to take loans from the High Education Financing Agency (Hefa).
We are afraid that proposals such as NMI and B.Tech Program will be the reason to push DU to Hefa,” said Abha Dev Habib , “Abha Dev Habib,” Abha Dev Habib, “former member of the Executive Board.
“While in principle we welcome from new courses, we need to ensure that this comes as a sustainable expansion.
Starting from BTECH courses from 2022-23 without grants, faculty recruitment and laboratory settings treat students as pigs.
Pretty seen from this half-fire reform, “Add Habib.
