Chandigarh: Deputy Minister of Haryana Dushyant Chautala said on Tuesday that Heli-Hub would be established in Gurugram, where many flight facilities would be available such as Heliport, Hangar and repairs.
Heli-hub will be the first of its kind in this country to have all the facilities above in one place for helicopters.
Chautala led the senior officer of the Civil Aviation Department, Hanyana State Industrial and the Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC), city and state planning and other departments in his office.
Dushyant Chautala said that the place where heli-hub will be built will be close to Metro facilities along with easy connectivity to industrial areas such as Noida and Bhiwadi.
He directed the officers to prepare detailed project reports on the project and accelerate the work to take mainland and start other facilities.
Dushyant also directs the Civil Aviation Department officers to find additional land around Bhiwani, Narnaul and Borrow Airstrips so that other flights related activities can be expanded.
