Den Haag: Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte will announce the new Covid-19 restrictions, reportedly included “partial locking” in Western Europe in winter, because cases score a record level.

The Netherlands on Thursday reported 16,364 new Covid cases for 24 hours earlier, destroying the previous record of 12,997 sets last December.
The nation of 17 million people has reported 2.2 million cases and 18,612 death since the start of Las Year Pandemic.
The hospital has warned they will not be able to get through winter under current conditions.
The Covid surge came apart from the fact that 82 percent of Dutch people over 12 years were fully vaccinated.
People who are not vaccinated contribute to the most intensive care cases (69 percent) and hospital admissions (55 percent), but the efficiency of vaccines decreases, especially in parents, has also been blamed for a surge.
